SwingRCP Licensing
The SwingRCP plugin is licensed on a per developer license and is not tied to any particular end product. That means every single developer using our plugin is required to have their own individual license file. A single developer license includes a full year of maintenance updates and free email support. If you need further support or upgrades after the free period, you can purchase an annual maintance contract that must be renewed every year.

As part of the purchase, you will get:
Free updates for 12 months
Free email support for 12 months. We are in the Pacific US (GMT-8) time zone.
An email notification of new releases or updates
Detailed tutorials and javadoc from our web site
Many examples with source code that you can start from

Single Developer License allows an individual to use the APIs provided by SwingRCP in any number of projects that he or she is working on. A Single Developer License may not be shared or used by more than one individual developer. In a project that uses SwingRCP, each individual developer on the project requires a separate Single Developer License as long as they need to access the SwingRCP API.
Maintenance includes both technical support and product updates or upgrades. The initial purchase of Single Developer License includes twelve months of maintenance for free. After that period, you need to purchase an Annual Maintenance Contract in order to continue receiving technical support, product updates or upgrades.
If you purchase more than five single developer licenses, you will be given a volume discount. The more you purchase the larger the discount.
Free License for Open Source Projects
TrioMii Software has always been supportive of open source projects. Open source project developers can obtain free single developer licenses, allowing them to use TrioMii products in their projects. Please go to our Open Source Request page with the following information to apply for a free license.

The free single developer license is exactly the same as the purchased single developer license, except for the following conditions.
You agree to have a link to our web site on your web site and acknowledge the use of TrioMii products after successfully integrating SwingRCP into your project.
This license is tied to the open source project you applied for in your email. You cannot use this developer license in any other projects including other open source projects. If you have any other open source projects, please apply for another free developer license. If the project is converted to a commercial project, you must purchase a single developer license.
